Spencer M. Aronfeld is a board-certified civil trial lawyer and the founder of Aronfeld Trial Lawyers, a Miami-based firm he established in 1991 after graduating cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. Adam C. Finkel is a partner with The Haggard Law Firm with extensive experience working with persons catastrophically injured due to corporate negligence, as well as families who have lost loved ones.Before joining The Haggard Law Firm, Finkel was a trial attorney at Mase, Mebane & Briggs practicing in the areas of admiralty and maritime law, where he handled matters involving sexual assaults, death, and injuries onboard cruise ships. Having represented many of the major cruise line companies in personal injury and wrongful death matters, Finkel gained an in-depth look into how corporations defend themselves in Court. Despite experiencing much success for his clients, Finkel quickly realized representing the corporate cruise lines was not for him. Before entering private practice, he spent six years with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. To investigate crime and prepare for trial, Finkel worked closely with local law enforcement, as well as Federal agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Trisha S. Widowfield Esq. is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Osborne, Francis & Pettis, PLLC. Ms. Widowfield handles complex civil litigation matters, focusing her practice in the areas of medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury. She has extensive experience across the State of Florida representing individuals and families. In September 2021, Ms. Widowfield served as trial co-counsel, winning a $6.46M verdict for a client, the largest wrongful death medical malpractice jury verdict ever reported in Volusia County, Florida history. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade defending hospitals and nurses in malpractice litigation, giving her a unique perspective on both sides of these cases, and she previously worked as a claims adjuster with USAA and Gallagher Bassett. Ms. Widowfield is also an active leader in the legal community, serving as vice president of Ms. Esquire and frequently speaking and writing on professional empowerment and leadership. She is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District courts for the Northern, Southern, and Middle districts of Florida.
